MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must submit an Application for Membership accompanied by a Seventy‐Five Dollar ($75.00) nonrefundable application fee, and be nominated for induction into the Chapter’s Prospective Members Program (“Prospect Program”) by a full member in good standing. Candidates accepted by a simple majority vote of the members present will be entered into the Prospect Program. The candidate’s application fee will be used to off‐set the cost of Chapter Shirts, Crossed Sabers Pins, and shipping and handling for the Chapter Colors.

• Must be legally licensed to operate motorcycles (Class M endorsement) in the State of Alabama

• Must own an insured road worthy motorcycle (750cc minimum)

• Complete a probationary period, not to exceed nine (9) months to include satisfying the organization’s 3000 miles group ride policy (with 1500 accumulated on Club Rides and
  the other 1500 with at least (1) one full patch member of the Eufaula Chapter in order to complete the requirements to become a full patch member).

• No felony record and willing to submit to a background check.

• Must have completed or will complete a widely recognized motorcycle safety course within three (3) months of probationary acceptance.

• Be voted in by majority vote

• Must educate themselves and others on the history of the Buffalo Soldiers

• Must actively support the organization and its functions

• Anyone with a felony conviction will not be accepted
   

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

• Motorcycle ownership is not required

• Must be sponsored by an active Full Member in good standing

• Any immediate family member or significant acquaintance of an active Full Member is eligible for Associate member sponsorship

•  Candidates not meeting the above criteria whose association with the club would be considered beneficial to the organization’s mission may be recommended by any Full Member.
